California is home to forty million, its GDP is fifth in the world, its agricultural production is top ten in the world, and it is the technological and creative center of the world. And, yet, the U.S. does not care. They ignore our environmental pleas and do not support our businesses. They cater to a minority living elsewhere. We give them a dollar, they pass it on to somewhere else, laughing.
Californication is the call for attention. The call for the U.S. to listen to our demands. The call for Californians in D.C. to stand up for us. Yet, this isn’t just to benefit California, it is a stand for a more enlightened U.S. It is our duty to lead the charge.
Our pleas are grounded in rational thought, communal support, science and progressive thinking, not historical revisionism, repression and fear-mongering. It is a state of mind shared by the majority of Americans.
The Free Republic of California is Californication.

And yet, its opinions do not seem to matter to the U.S.
The U.S. needs to immediately take into account our concerns, such as those regarding the environment, healthcare, diplomacy, immigration, allocation of federal funds and protection of intellectual property. These concerns are in fact, the concern of the majority of Americans, it is simply California’s duty to demand them.
The most powerful of states cannot be ignored anymore. The Free Republic of California is near.
